It Started With a Mother’s Question
DIRA began with a feeling many parents know well.
As a mother, I wanted my children to be beautifully dressed, but I also wanted them to feel completely
comfortable being children. Clothes needed to look special without feeling restrictive, and they needed
to work beyond the photograph — through play, movement, family days and everything in between.
I found myself looking for pieces that brought together beauty, comfort and thoughtful design. Too often,
finding one meant compromising on another.
That stayed with me.
And eventually, it became the beginning of DIRA.

As a doctor, I naturally bring the same attention to detail and consideration into the way I approach children’s clothing.
