Festive seasons like Hari Raya and Deepavali are times of joy, family reunions, and vibrant photos. Preparing your children’s outfits in advance makes these celebrations smooth and stress-free.
1. Measure Twice, Order Once
Children grow fast, and sizes vary greatly between brands. Always refer to the specific brand sizing charts rather than relying on general age tags. Measure your child’s chest size and height, and when in doubt, choose a slightly larger size to allow room for growth and movement.
2. Manage Embellishments Wisely
Sequins, glitter, and heavy metallic threads look gorgeous in festive lighting but can irritate young skin. Choose garments where embellishments are placed away from touchpoints (like the neck or underarms), or ensure that the brand has lined those areas with soft cotton shields.
3. Have a Secondary Comfort Outfit Ready
For long visiting days, keep a light, casual cotton outfit in your bag. Once the formal photos are done, letting your toddler change into a comfortable cotton kurta keeps them happy and active for the rest of the day.
